FAQ

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance.

I am happy to provide you a “superbill” to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

I reserve a limited number of spots for sliding scale clients to keep my therapy services accessible — if you need a lower rate, please reach out to me to discuss!

What if I want to begin therapy, but my partner doesn’t?

It’s normal (and very common!) for couples to be on different pages when it comes to starting therapy. Often, one partner is ready to begin while the other feels hesitant or uncertain. I’m always happy to do a consultation with both of you to address any concerns and questions either of you have about the process.

If your partner ultimately decides couples therapy isn’t right for them, we can pursue individual therapy. This can help to clarify your feelings and goals within the relationship, and feel better in your own life, even when the two of you aren’t always on the same page.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes.

What if I/we prefer to meet in person?

You got it! My office is located in the heart of Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood at 1155 Sherman Street #315.

Can we work together if I/we live out of state?

Due to Colorado regulations, I can only work with folks who live in the state of Colorado.

Do you work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Absolutely and joyfully! I have years of experience supporting individuals and couples who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary (and those who are still figuring it all out) in addition to straight, straight(ish), and cis folks. You are welcome to show up in my therapy room exactly as you are.

Feel free to ask about how my identity/training will show up in the therapy room during our initial consultation.

“Throughout this whole process, you gave me hope. You challenged me in great ways, but also left me feeling validated in my own emotions and experience.”
